**In May 2024, STWST invited Shu Lea Cheang** to contribute to the STWST Red Thread. She has added 10 more internationally active artists/initiatives to her 10x10x10 thread. 


**Her format 10x10x10 of Media Art (with an attitude)** brings up 10 significant art works/events from STWST’s archive and invites 10 artists/spaces/collectives to correspond by bringing 10 works from their own archive or that of the larger media art field.

**For the Red Thread in 2025,** further artists and producers will be asked to relate their own work to STWST projects. 

**Shu Lea Cheang** (USA) engages in genre bending gender hacking art practices. Noted as Net art pioneer for BRANDON (1998 - 99) commissioned and collected by Guggenheim Museum, New York.  In 2024, she receives the LG Guggenheim Art and Technology Award. http://mauvaiscontact.info
