Mit STWST48x10 NOPE veranstaltet die Stadtwerkstatt im September 2024 die 10. Auflage ihrer jährlichen 48-Stunden-Nonstop-Showcase-Extravaganza STWST48: 
Mit NOPE antwortet die STWST auf hochgefahrenen Optimismus. Inmitten von Multikrisen, Totalitarismen und toxischen Halluzinationen wird Hoffnung selbst zur Hoffnung. Oder auch zur Kampfkategorie – aber für wen oder gegen was? 
Denn so schaut’s aus, in der schönen neuen Welt da draußen: Eine Abbaugesellschaft, die immer noch so tut, als wären wir im Wiederaufbau. Gesinnungen, die politische Haltungen fortsetzen, die längst entsorgt hätten werden sollen. Menschen, die zum Werkzeug ihrer Optimierung und zum Rohstoff geworden sind. Eine Technologie, die total geworden ist. Eine Spezies on the Edge. 
Zwischen Not Real und Not Really bewegt sich die STWST mit der Schattenhaftigkeit eines lapidaren NOPE und fokussiert auf ihre Core-Themen: Neue Kontexte, unvermittelte Kunst, kritische Produktion, Erhöhung des Widerspruchs, Imagination als Material, intentionaler Umbau der Mittel. Weniger denn je geht es in der 10. Ausgabe von STWST48 um eine Abarbeitung von Themen, sondern um Grundfesten und Various Comments. More than ever, STWST is refusing to work through topics and is focussing on principles and various comments. We show the house as a continuum of criticism and anti-spectacle.
