WRITING RESISTANCE

Die Lesungsreihe WRITING RESISTANCE beginnt mit einer Auftaktveranstaltung am 08. April 2026.

With the lecture series WRITING RESISTANCE STWST and VERSORGERIN proclaim a discursive format for presenting and discussing literary works that explore practices of resistance, analyze attitudes of resistance, and themselves represent a form of counterforce to hegemony.

Brigitte Rath is an austrian literature scientist. Her book FREI DENKEN, FREI LEBEN on the resistance fighter Olga Misař was released in the viennese mandelbaum Verlag in 2025.

Andreas Pavlic lives and works as a free author, editor and cultural worker in vienna. His novel SELIGE UNRUHE is being released in the viennese publishing house Edition Atelier.
