STWST Facade and public areas in the building

With the annual claim “MORE VS. LESS” and the "MORE VIRUS LESS" re-opening of the public areas from 15 May onwards, STWST was filled with sounds+art from projects from the in-house New Art Contexts every weekend: Sound-and-nothing cathedrals of the microcosmic, isolationism and depth come from the façade, the locked club room and the basement.

NEW SOUND CONTEXTS II
Weekends, Fri+Sat from 12 – 27 June 2020:

Starting on the weekend of June 12th and 13th, the concept of New Sound Contexts was extended to invited artists: On June 12th and 13th plus two more weekends, ABBY LEE TEE will play on the façade, and sounds will also come out of the locked club room and from the basement: simulacra from field recordings, thematically based on the locations, from cliff scenarios to thermal sources.

Weekends, Fri+Sat from 10 – 24 July 2020:

From the weekend of July 10th/11th plus two more weekends, ou¡ɟ & oıpnɐǝʇnɯ will use the locked club venue and the cellar. The collaboration is entitled:
What do you mean by 'Inside is the new Outside'?”.

NEW SOUND CONTEXTS IV
Weekends, Fri+Sat from 31. Juli to 22. August 2020:

From the weekend of 31 July/1 August plus two more weekends, Monica Vlad's sound works can be heard from the locked club venue and from the facade. She uses sounds to create a "somehow ghostly_cathedral atmosphere".

Sound club venue: A combination of 40 minutes recorded live performance and 30 minutes “Once upon a time there was nothing”. Sound facade: Sound of the balm crickets, digitally manipulated.

OPEN CALL
Submissions till 31 June 2020

With the above mentioned “NEW SOUND CONTEXTS” and under the working title “SOUND AND ART CATHEDRALS OF NOTHING” this concept of extended SOUND CONTEXTS was opened - besides own STWST productions and invited artists - with a New Sound Contexts OPEN CALL for local/national artists.
